Major
Abbas Scholarship Award
Muslim Welfare Centre is pleased to announce " Major
Abbas Scholarship Award". This award is to assist students who are pursuing
first year of college or university. A total of 5 Scholarships will be awarded
each year to those students who have graduated from high school with an average
of 80% or better. The award will be decided based on merit and the criteria
set by the Award Committee.

value of each award will be $1,000
The Horn of Africa is suffering
a devastating drought, compounded by war, neglect, and scarcity of food
and water. Some areas in the region have not had such a low rainfall in
60 years, according to the international aid group Oxfam.
The World Food Program estimates that 11.3 million people across east
Africa urgently need food, water, aid and medical supplies.
Muslim Welfare Centre has sent $160,000 worth of Food Boxes, Medicines and Cash. More donations are desperately needed.
Our Team in, Pakistan is supervising and distributing DONATED goods and supplies directly to the victims of Flood in Pakistan. We have also delivered about 3.5 tons of food, baby milk and toiletries to the Pakistan Navy for distribution to the flood victims.
We sent more than 3000 Food Boxes through PIA directly to the Flood victims in Pakistan.
