become homeless. Although the root cause is poverty,
underlying issues include:

At Muslim Welfare Canada, we're focused on providing temporary shelter for people of all ages to ensure they're don't fall into the cycle of homelessness. In addition to that, we want to ensure people suffering from homelessness receive medical care.
Projects That Work
When you support Muslim Welfare Canada, you are helping our nationwide network of food banks deliver programs at the front line of hunger. Community based meal programs, food banks and distributions for elders.
Muslim Welfare Residences is a 45-bed emergency shelter where residents stay for a maximum of 3 months.
This facility is staffed with a dedicated team of caring professionals who work closely with social services agencies to support the need of women and children under their care.
They provide services from life skills training and resume building to housing and family counselling.
